ultimate weekend!

I recently discovered cookies wagon when we were driving back from visiting AdD and her newborn baby sometime last week. Then, I decided to check out swagon.com while I was at work. I am a cookie/chocolate/ice blended freak. I can never get enough of those and when I saw that pink truck, I just HAD to find out more about them.

I discovered that they were gonna be in Port Dickson for the Water Festival this weekend so my husband decided to take me there just to check them out after lunching at Yellow Cab Pizza in KL. We got there at about 6pm but we weren't at the right beach so we decided to hang around. We got on a horse carriage and went for a spin. At first, we were planning to rent a couple of jet-skis but then,looking at the condition of the tide and color of the water and the fact that the boats were anchored a bit too near the people splashing around, we decided to pass.

Later on, we moved on to the beach where the event was held at. The funny thing is, of all the fuss and effort we made about finding the damn pink truck, we found a Kopie Satu yellow truck instead. It was HOT and we were super thirsty so we decided to go ahead and get some ice blended drinks from there instead. Also, there was a performance of cak lempong by the locals (kids actually) from the homestay program. Awesome! 

The drive back was fun coz Shu decided to try a new road which eventually got us back onto the highway. Went back into KL coz he said he saw an ad of this new place called The Mint but then, we changed our minds and had dinner/supper in Subang USJ11 instead. I loved staying in Subang but it was just too far a drive for me to go back and forth to work. There is a place called Boomtown near the apartment we lived in back then. It has awesome food. We were there on Friday night and we were there again last night.

Today, we slept in and decided to laze around the house. Had breakfast in Bangi and went to the pet store in Putrajaya. Dropped by at a pharmacy for some stuff and went home. Shu decided to play ModNation on the PS3 at first but then we moved on to streaming a movie and now, he is building a house for my sims to move into. I managed to bathe Pebbles.She was not pleased about it at all.

I was on a four-day leave last week due to stress and many other internal problems I had with myself and my workplace. One of it was caused by someone else. Usually,I don't give a damn about what anyone else thinks but I think when it has been accumulated over time,I would have had to vent it out somehow.I haven't been on leave for a while now so I was given a good 4-day leave. Yey!

Spent most of my time at home in front of the computer playing games all day since my husband was working. It was a public holiday on Wednesday so he decided to take me out to the city.It was fun. We were shopping and stuff. Then, while waiting for our lunch,we felt a slight shake in the restaurant. Later we discovered it was the Earthquake but since it was subtle,no one else felt it.

Anywho,I got back on Monday and things were looking a bit bleak. I think it's coz Monday morning here is still Sunday in the US.A bit pointless at the time. Then things started picking up later that day.Things are changing in my department. People are moving in and out and stuff. My job role has changed SO MUCH since 2012. God knows where I'll be in the next couple of months.

Shu and I will be happily married 2 years in June ^_^

break

I am in major need of a break. Yes, I have cancelled my leaves due to ongoing changes in plans for the team. Shu also needs to work on some things before his team go fully live.I think I am just tired. Today, I called in sick. I think my body is telling me to slow down. Working 10 hours a day isn't exactly the best way to work. I know that. I just feel like since my schedule isn't synchronized with Shu's I might as well do what ever I can to speed up the training session.

It's only been 4 days and I managed to push the trainees to do live work. They always tell me that I have a lot of confidence in them. Honestly, I need to have confidence in them. This is my first time training and since My TL thinks I can do it, I better have confidence to pull this through. 

My job scope has changed so drastically and I am enjoying doing what I do. I know that in the last couple of weeks there has been some complaints from people who has no rights to be asking me the things they did but it has been taken care of. I think since we work in a team, everyone kinda wants to get in to what they want. I understand that and I am sorry that I left the team earlier than them. I still am working on the well being of the team but if they can't pull themselves together, I guess there really is nothing I can do.

Honestly, I can only do so much. I had my share of pain. I pulled through. Why can't they do the same?

Anywho,Shu now works on level 5 so I sometimes take the trouble to drop by at his place from time to time just to hang out.We used to work on the same floor and meet up at the pantry.Hahahaha! I love my husband ^_^ He's been through so much and we've had a lot of ups and downs since we first started working here. He deserves a raise and acknowledgement. I just hope and pray he'd get it real soon.

Hola March

I have had a long February. I was swamped with not only work but other stuff as well like the leakage on the ceiling of the bedroom! I have also been burning candles a lot lately.So yeah, I am basically the contact person at the moment to get people into the department eventhough HP has temporarily frozen all external intakes.I am getting 2 guys who happen to be Shu's colleagues and friends into the team.All I can say is we are almost there.

I have also been helping my friend finish up some reports at the same time.Yes,I am doing all this on top my daily workload.Oh yeah, I have recently gotten in touch with Ruby (my former TL) and a former colleague of mine,Haifa.They both run a restaurant here in Cyberjaya and thanks to Shu's brilliant idea,we are helping them set up an open mic event on weekends. Since it's their first time doing this,we are going to keep it all acoustic for the time being.The idea is to promote the restaurant.

Anywho,I have been super tired from waking up early and coming home late.I need a break. I sure hope all goes well in the next few weeks so that I can take the week off as scheduled.

Hey! It's February!

Last weekend,I decided to go shopping with my sister since Shu was at work.She was looking for a pair of shoes and I was looking for a bunch of random things.She treated me Sushi over at Sakae Sushi.Haven't had sushi in a while.Then,we went shoe hunting.She found a pair which she liked but the Charles and Keith outlet we were at didn't have it in her size.I got myself some eyeliners from Majolica Majorca,a blouse and some phone charm for Shu and I.Those were really cute coz it was from TokiDoki's Moofia collection.SO CUTE! My sister got Tyler some T-Shirts which included the awesome EVERYDAY I'M SHUFFLIN' tee from LMFAO.Then we walked and walked and walked and finally we decided to leave.

Upon leaving,we were gonna go up the escalator to the parking lots and there was something wrong.There was a security guard who had just stopped the escalator coz there was a shopping cart stuck at the top of the escalator.It was funny and strange both at once considering the fact that there is no shopping cart allowed onto the escalators but there it was stuck and facing upwards and probably endangering everyone else.We then discovered that there was this lady who was having trouble carrying her electrical appliances upstairs who then decided to use the shopping cart up the escalator was the cause to the whole jam.Being my sister and I,we decided to give her a hand.It wasn't like it was heavy or anything.She was just having trouble carrying it all the way up.

Anywho,later on,I dropped my sister at home and went to grab some late lunch or tea with LinZy-san.Haven't seen her in ages and we finally met up after so long.She took me to a place called Food Foundry over in PJ.It was nice and cozy and we chatted for a few hours over some cakes and stuff.Then I had to rush home coz I didn't want to be driving all the way home alone in the dark.So there I was,speeding AGAIN but this time all the way home.I managed to stop by at the office to give Shu his phone charm and a cheesecake LinZy got him.

The entire week went on pretty fast. I discovered some really unnecessary and disturbing information and possibly video.I have yet to figure out what I need to do about it coz it is definitely something I need to deal with.I just am not sure what I am supposed to do about it.My conscience is constantly bugging me asking me to do something.Shu told me what he would have done and as much it seemed like the right thing to do,I don't know why I haven't made my move.

Oh yes,I was working 11 hours yesterday with only minor breaks and no lunch breaks.Working on a deadline and stuff.I got it done in time but I was cracking my head the whole time.It wasn't anyone's fault.There was just some miscommunication somewhere along the way.It was done.All and all,I think the client visit went pretty well.

OMG,I just realized that I got 3 tops in a week and what I really need right now is a pair of pants.I stepped into Forever 21 and got myself my very first top from there.I think I kinda like that shop

Oh,the 2 cats got a good scolding from Shu thanks to all the mess they've made over the last 7 days at home!
